Two years ago, on October 7, 2023, the world witnessed the horror of the Hamas attack on Israel and its citizens. The people of every country saw the barbaric attack on innocent civilians celebrating at peaceful music festival on the border between Israel and Gaza. This unprovoked attack, kidnappings and slaughter of men, women and children was viewed by the world. However, many countries denied the murderous, violent attacks and began, almost immediately, supporting the cruel, vicious attackers rather than those brutally assaulted by the aggressors.
Rioters, paid protestors, and misinformed student lemmings took to campuses throughout the U.S.A. supporting murderers and banning Jews from public places. Meanwhile the nation of Israel stood up to defend itself with a strong army and righteous cause. Other nations turned against Israel, even the United States insisted that the Israeli army stand-down from their aggressive moves into the Gaza Region. Antisemitism reared its ugly head in every country, even the U.S.A. Jews throughout this country feared for the lives of their families for the first time in our nation’s history. Fortunately, a few voices of reason spoke against antisemitism and rejected the crowds taking over our streets and university buildings.
One of the loudest voices was a Republican candidate for President, Donald J. Trump. Mr. Trump, at that time the 45th President, berated President Joe Biden and his administration for their lack of support and general defense of Israel. Hostages, the peoples of Israel, other countries in the Middle East, and Gaza suffered through months of war waged by Hamas terrorists, Hezbollah gangs, Iranian military attacks, and Houthi rebels.
On October 13, 2025, President Trump visited Israel and Egypt to sign the arranged ceasefire and release of the remaining 20 hostages that ended the war. Accompanying him were his wonderfully gifted administration representatives who worked to prepare the treaty, 37 official representatives from nations around the world, and the hope and support of Trump supporters throughout the United States.
Republicans, some democrats, Israelis, Gazans, and peoples from around the globe celebrated the end to war, and President Donald Trump. The phrase “We don’t deserve him!” reverberated throughout the world. For those who still suffer from TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) I send my sympathy and pity. These misled, angry individuals will never see or enjoy the magnificence of Trump, his cabinet, and peace negotiators. The United States of America is truly a fortunate nation to have people in the government bent on peace, not war; freedom, not authoritarianism; safety, not crime; and mutual respect and cooperation among nations, not world-wide anarchy, and domination. Thank you, President Trump, for being the person you are, and the President who keeps his promises!
