GSRW Spring Conference - Harris Ranch in Coalinga, CA - May 17-18, 2025

Golden State Republican Women held their annual Spring Conference at beautiful Harris Ranch in Coalinga, CA the weekend of May 17-18. Four members of Valley Unity Republican Women attended; Cherie Gigliotti, 1st VP; Valerie Aizarian, Co-1st VP; Carol Berns, Member; and Fern Somoza, President. The conference was informative, supportive, and all-around fun. We met with other members of GSRW from around the state, and the new proud sponsor from Thompson Von Tungeln; Jong Lee.

The conference included interesting, inspiring speakers such as Steve Frank, blogger and political influencer; Gloria Romero, Former California State Senator; Linda Paine, Election Integrity Project CA Founder; and Shannon Grove, California State Senator, 12th District. The afternoon and evening were filled with insightful discussions, which generated a collegial atmosphere throughout the weekend. GSRW conferences also advise and inform all members concerning up-coming independent clubs’ activities and events. Political discussions created excitement and thought-provoking questions and answers for the entire group. Everyone in attendance was looking forward to the GSRW Convention on September 26-28 in Buena Park, CA. Confirmations, election of officers, and amendments will highlight the activities at the Convention. Plan on attending!
